Just a quick check in because I haven't posted here in such a long time. I have some ideas for blog posts, but just need to take the time to write and post them. My teaching schedule is easier this semester (2 classes instead of 3) and I don't have as many labs to deal with, either. I always seem to have plenty of other things going on: Writing letters of recommendation for students Some research work I need to finish and write up Meeting with students Meetings for various service activities Setting things up for classes- including the new Wiki for my GEO 121 class ( Spring 2012 is under construction, but you can see finished examples from Fall 2011 & Summer 2011 ) Revising labs for GEO 121 (so that they fit in better with the rest of the course) Writing conference abstracts You get the idea! Some topics I want to blog about in the near future are my upcoming research leave (Spring 2013- woo hoo!), teaching with team-based learning (as I continue to refine things), propo
